Meet the Baker-E Team

 

Greyson Lum

Greyson started his career in Themed Entertainment design in 1993 as one of the first winners of the Walt Disney Imaginations design contest.  He has over 24 years leading projects at Walt Disney Imagineering in Interior Design, Show Set, and Project Architecture.  His project locations for Disney span the globe to Walt Disney World-Florida, Shanghai Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, Tokyo DisneySea, and Tokyo Disneyland.  Experienced with all phases of design, he has been able to push through tough design issues & make them into reality. 

Eric Williams

Eric is an artist, designer, and writer with over 25 years of expertise in the creation of compelling experiences and environments worldwide. He served as a mentor, concept architect, and creative visionary for Walt Disney Imagineering on such notable projects as Hong Kong Disney’s New Castle, the Star Wars Theme Resort in Disneyworld, and Tokyo Disney Sea's major new park expansion to name but a few. As a top-tier creative consultant and industry-leading professional, Eric has helped cultivate and manage both technical and creative resources in developing designs from blue-sky concept through completion for major theme parks, attractions, and experiences all around the world.

Mike Williams

With over 25 years in Themed Entertainment and Hospitality design, Mike is experienced in large themepark groups.  He has successfully managed theme projects and Hotel Groups and has successfully lead multiple design teams and consultant firms with all projects being delivered on time and within budget.  He is highly experienced in all phases of design ranging from Bluesky to Construction. 

Abe Quibin Sr.

With more than 40 years as a decorated Concept/ Project Architect for the Walt Disney Company.  Abe's breadth of work includes Disney Hotels, Attractions, Restaurant Facilities, Merchandise Bazaars, and large land complexes. His unique design skills for concept environments, design development, working drawings, field supervision, and sketches have made Abe one of the leaders in the Theme Design industry.  During his time with WDI, he has relocated to Paris, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Shanghai to supervise the project site architects during construction and implementation.

John Marsala

John brings to the BAKER-E his highly creative, multi-disciplinary design mind with extensive experience in themed entertainment, experiential interiors, and event designs.  He is an industrious visual storyteller able to conceptualize, craft, and deliver immersive environments and branded experiences for a wide variety of projects. He is an adaptable and collaborative team leader with 20 years of managing projects from concept to completion.  Highly capable of stepping outside the boundaries of traditional design and able to contribute in demanding multi-disciplinary team environments.

Ryan Lee

Ryan has worked for over 23 years in Theme Entertainment Design as a lead Area Development and Master planning Designer.  
He has led and participated alongside Disney legends developing concepts for both domestic and international Disney theme parks.  Ryan is an expert at developing immersive entertainment experiences, theme parks, hotels, retail, dining, and performing arts districts for all phases of work concept to construction. 

Noah Azari

Noah’s projects include Shanghai Disneyland base park, Euro Disney, Tokyo Disneyland, and Tokyo DisneySea. Participated in all phases of design from blue sky concept to construction administration. Project scope ranged from 20 million dollars to 100 million including participation in land-wide additions and renovations, major ground-up E-ticket ride construction, and coordination with local teams on a global platform using the latest BIM technologies for design and construction. Graduated with honors from the University of California. Licensed architect having worked on a wide array of typologies, including design in theme parks and resorts. Experienced in hand sketches to advanced computer-generated modeling. 

Mark Jason Page

Mark has lead concept design for multi-million dollar projects at Walt Disney Imagineering, spanning across themeparks, cruise lines and hotels.

He has lead some of Disney’s most creative attractions.

“Iron-man Experience” and “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle!”-Hong Kong Disneyland.

Mark’s diligent creative problem solving skills inspire our clients to achieve exactly what they want. His passion for storytelling is infused with his incredible design work.

Yukai Sugita

Sugita-san has executed projects around the world with Disney, Universal, Fox Studios, Wuppertal Zoo, and Studio Gibuili as a lead sculptor with Character facades, rockwork, Fiberglass production, and Field Art Direction. Sugita-san’s extensive background and knowledge of theme facades make him the leading expert at sculpting theme facades.

Abraham Quibin Jr.

As an experienced Art Director and Theme Artist with over 14 years of leading high-profile theme projects around the globe. Abraham is one of the leading Field Art Directors in the industry.

He is well versed in production design, theme painting, and rockwork sculpting and fabrication.

Melvin Ng

Melvin is the BAKER-E liaison for all projects in China. He has successfully delivered specialized theme materials for Disney Hong Kong, China, and Tokyo. He is highly experienced in color creation and DOVE carvable epoxy used for facade work.

Graphic Design

Our graphics team has led graphics efforts for the various theme park, resort, and film industry projects. We have specialized unique skills to produce designs for environmental graphics, grand marquees, company image creation, and color façade design.

Peng Xu 彭旭

Peng Xu is an registered architect in China. He studied in Beijing and Stuttgart and has over twenty years of experience in Themed and Traditional Architecture projects. He was the lead Project Architect for several highly themed facilities and attractions at Shanghai Disneyland Resort. Peng Xu has a vast understanding of world design with Chinese construction. He has successfully brought together projects for Walt Disney Imagineering and Universal Studios with Chinese construction giants.

Todd Dalsimer

Todd has over 30 years of experience in the themed entertainment industry working on projects all over the world. Spending 15 years designing interiors for Disney, 5 years as a show set designer at Universal Creative, and quite a few more years designing museum exhibits, resorts, and other themed experiences at many other design firms. He has worked on every phase of a project from blue sky to design drawings to installation to opening day, has a passion for storytelling through design, and is always looking forward to the next project.

Ryan Williams

Ryan is a BIM Manager and Technologist highly experienced in managing model-based project delivery on capital projects in Themed Entertainment. His expertise includes model authoring, interoperability, design and construction coordination, reality capture, data analytics, and custom solutions development. He brings over 15 years of experience in the design and software industries, technical proficiency across a wide range of modeling platforms and tools, and an unrelenting passion for innovation. Past projects include attractions at Walt Disney World, Disneyland Resort, Tokyo Disneyland, and Tokyo DisneySea.

Delia Ding 丁文慧

8 years design institution experience, more than 15 years design management experience, including 7 years at international companies, in real estate industry.

Diverse project experience of theme park, high-rise office, 5 star hotel, residential building and industrial building etc.

Full acknowledge of project design management, special design process, US and local specification, site and work shop inspection and buy off etc.

Strong ability of coordinating between massive members from inside and outside parties including consultants, cost and contract, construction, permits and approvals.

Peter Nordell

Peter has over 15 years of Industrial Design experience. He is a decorated graduate of Art Center College Of Design. Peter’s projects include furniture design, clothing apparel, fixture sculpture, soft goods, interior design and captivating environments.

Tony Quibin

Prior to working as an Art Director for Universal Creative on the Universal Beijing Resort, his other projects include HKDL, SHDR, DCA, Disneyland.

He is multi-faceted with creative and technical backgrounds in scenic art/ theme paint, rock work, sculpture, TCP, GRG, GRC, FRP, hardscape, artificial foliage, themed/ character/ show lighting, and show sets from design to sample production, fabrication and installation.

As a “guardian of the guest experience,” Tony can deliver a world class immersive environment.

Lan Lan

Lan has been practicing Interior Design for more than 15 years on project at major location in US, Paris, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Tokyo. Produces and generate integral designs with a degree of consistency. Expert knowledge in Delivering Space Planning, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents through Construction Administration on sites. Intensive coordination with multi disciplinary team to produce Commercial, Hospitality and Immersive Theme park Designs.

Katherine Martinez

Katherine joins the BAKER-E after a long career with Walt Disney Imagineering, as Senior Designer. She has led Disney’s Interior Design teams from concept to construction spanning all types of domestic and international projects.

Katherine is exceptionally organized and highly proficient with 3D Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp and realistic rendering tools.

Eddy Weverling

Eddy’s projects include Shanghai Disneyland base park, Disneyland Paris, Disney, Tokyo Disneyland, Hannover Zoo, Berlin Zoo, Zurich Zoo Switzerland, Karlsruhe Zoo, Gelsenkirchen Zoo, Wuppertal Zoo

Eddy has participated in the design and execution of Character sample panels, rock work, character facades, wood distress, and Field site art direction.

Bianca Stubbe

Bianca has a rich experience in graphic design for themed entertainment, hospitality, and attractions. While studying graphic design at the University of Arizona, she placed “Best in Show” in Walt Disney Imagineering’s 2010 Imaginations competition. She went on to receive a BFA with honors in Visual Communications: Graphic Design.

Bianca is experienced in all phases of design from conception through construction. She has worked on projects in Walt Disney World, Disneyland, Hong Kong Disneyland, Shanghai Disneyland, Tokyo Disneyland, and Tokyo DisneySEA.

She joins the BAKER-E team with a passion for graphic design
